Riwan Mart (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an online marketplace that connects customers with local Nepali farmers. We act as a supplier and distributor, not a manufacturer. By using our website and services, you agree to these terms, which govern all transactions between you and Riwan Mart.
2. Product Information & Sourcing
- Our Role: We source products directly from farmers and villages. Products are made using traditional methods and small-batch production.
- Natural Variations: As products are handmade or naturally produced, variations in color, size, shape, texture, and taste may occur.
- Descriptive Wording: We use terms like “village-made,” “traditional method,” and “locally sourced.” We do not claim “organic,” “chemical-free,” or other certifications unless officially verified.
- No Manufacturing: We do not alter, process, or manufacture the products — we supply them as received from farmers.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR).
- Prices may change without prior notice.
- Payment methods are listed at checkout. Customers must provide accurate billing and contact details.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Freshness
- Delivery Areas: We deliver across Nepal using trusted courier partners.
- Estimated Delivery Time: Orders are generally delivered within 7 business days. Delays may occur due to weather, public holidays, strikes, transport issues, or unforeseen events.
- Freshness & Perishable Items: Some products (e.g., ghee, chhurpi) are perishable. If delivery is delayed or the customer is unavailable to receive the package on time, the product’s freshness and quality may be affected. We are not responsible for such degradation.
- Packaging: We use secure, simple packaging to protect products.
- Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 24 hours with clear photos before opening the package.
- Risk Transfer: Once the order is delivered to your address or collected by you, Riwan Mart is not liable for damage, spoilage, or misuse caused by improper storage or handling.
5. Returns & Refunds
- Perishable Products: No returns accepted unless the product is significantly damaged upon arrival and reported within 24 hours.
- Non-Perishable Products: Returns accepted within 7 days if unopened and in original packaging.
- Refunds are processed only after the returned product is inspected.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate delivery information.
- Ensure someone is available to receive the package at delivery time.
- Store products as instructed to maintain quality.
7. Intellectual Property
The Riwan Mart name, logo, images, and website content are protected by copyright laws. Use without written permission is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Riwan Mart is not responsible for delays, loss of freshness, or damage due to events outside our control.
- We are not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues caused by the products, as we are a distributor and not a manufacturer.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
